FAQs

What does GREAT Life Advantage 4 pay under the death benefit?

If the life assured dies while the policy is in force, the payout is the higher of (a) basic sum assured plus eligible premium top-ups minus partial withdrawals, or (b) the account value, less any debt under the policy.

How is total and permanent disability (TPD) defined for a life assured older than 15?

TPD requires a state of total and permanent incapacity where the life assured cannot ever work sufficiently to earn remuneration, or involves total and irrecoverable loss such as sight in both eyes, use of two limbs at/above the wrist or ankle, or sight in one eye plus use of one limb at/above the wrist or ankle.

What happens if TPD occurs before turning age 1?

A specific lump sum formula applies: 20% of the basic sum assured plus eligible premium top-ups minus partial withdrawals, or the account value, whichever is higher, less any debt under the policy.
