An embedded ultrasonic parking distance indicator uses an HC-SR04 transducer with an ESP32/STM32 microcontroller and an on-device machine learning pipeline to stabilize distance estimation. Time-of-flight measurements are aggregated with median filtering and temperature compensation, then processed by a compact TFLite Micro 1D-CNN to reduce systematic bias, multipath, and false echoes. The system computes a real-time hazard score and provides graded driver feedback via TFT/OLED display and a buzzer, achieving high zone-classification accuracy and reduced false alerts and obstacle misses with low inference latency.
