This document presents an image of a Commodore C64C computer set, which includes the computer itself and its accompanying mouse. The Commodore 64, often abbreviated as C64, is an 8-bit home computer that was introduced in January 1982 by Commodore International. It was the best-selling single computer model of all time, with sales estimates ranging from 12.5 to 17 million units. The C64C model, introduced in 1986, was a redesigned, smaller, and more energy-efficient version of the original C64. The computer is depicted in a beige casing, characteristic of many personal computers from the 1980s. The keyboard is a full QWERTY layout, and the mouse, also in beige, has a distinctive striped pattern on its top surface. The image is set against a plain gray background, focusing solely on the computer hardware. The presence of the mouse suggests the computer was capable of graphical user interface operations or employed for gaming and productivity software that utilized a cursor. The Commodore 64 was known for its impressive graphics and sound capabilities for its time, making it popular for gaming and as an educational tool. Its longevity in the market spoke volumes about its robust design and extensive software library.
