Very early in the morning, the Jewish chief priests and leaders met again to plan Jesus’execution. Giŏng anŭn, ƀing gơñu akă hĭ Yêsu, ba pơđuaĭ hĭ Ñulaih anŭn ba ñu nao pơ Pilat, jing khua kwar mơnuih Rôm. Then they bound Jesus, led him away and took him to Pilate, the Roman governor. Pilat tơbiă mơ̆ng sang ñu kiăng pơhiăp hăng ƀing gơñu laih anŭn tơña, "Hơget tơlơi ƀing gih phŏng kơđi kơ pô anai lĕ?" 􀀯ing gơñu laĭ glaĭ, "Tơdah Ñu ƀu pơjŏh hĭ tơlơi phiăn ôh, ƀing gơmơi ƀu či ba rai Ñu pơ ih ôh!" Pilate came out of his house to talk to them and asked,“What are you accusing this man of?”They replied,“If he had not broken the law, we would not have brought him to you!” Pilat laĭ, "Mă bĕ Ñu gih pô laih anŭn phat kơđi Ñu tui hăng tơlơi phiăn gih pô ." 􀀯ing khua ngă yang prŏng laih anŭn ƀing kŏng tha laĭ glaĭ, "Arăng ƀu brơi kơƀing gơmơi pơdjai hĭ hlơi pô ôh." Pilate said,“Take him yourself and judge him by your own law.” The chief priests and elders replied,“We are not allowed to put anyone to death.” Pilat mŭt glaĭ amăng sang pơtao ñu laih anŭn tơña kơ Yêsu, "Djơ̆ mơ̆ Ih jing pơtao ƀing Yehudah?" Yêsulaĭ glaĭ, "Dêh čar Kâo ƀu djơ̆ lŏn tơnah anai ôh." Pilate went back into the palace and summoned Jesus.“Are you the king of the Jews?” Jesus replied,“My kingdom is not of this world.” Giŏng anŭn, Pilat laĭ, "Tui anŭn, Ih jing pơtao djơ̆ mơ̆?" Yêsu laĭ glaĭ, "Ih laĭ kơ tơlơi Kâo jing pơtao. Kâo rai pơ lŏn tơnah anai kiăng pơruai kơ mơnuihmơnam kơ tơlơi sĭt." Pilat tơña, "Hơget tơlơi sĭt jing lĕ?" Then Pilate said,“So you are a king?” Jesus replied,“You say that I am a king. I came into the world to tell people the truth.” Pilate asked,“What is truth?”
