It considers how practitioners select locations for cultivation, and how sowing and harvesting practices intertwine with symbolic meanings and everyday social relations. These programs can be financed by the government, non-governmental organizations besides the family. With this, some students end up developing activities that may demand more dedication than those required by the school and, in some cases, guide the professional choice of the future. 1. Contextualization Brazil is a country of profound social inequalities (Consiglio europeo, 2020). The distribution of land and wealth in this territory is not done fairly (Merler, Foerste, Schütz-Foerste, 2020). According to the 2010 demographic census, urban centers today concentrate 84.35% of the population, while 15, 65% reside in the countryside, as a consequence of the long and violent process of rural exodus and concentration of land and wealth. The profound social inequalities are due to the contradictions reproduced throughout history, in the process of distribution of Brazilian land and wealth (material and symbolic goods) and refer to the European colonial culture and exploitation practiced in this country and in Latin America in general (Collier, 2015). The ills generated by this process still represent challenges to be faced today. The formation of subjects
