The contractor will be engaged on an hourly 4 basis to contribute to various software modeling projects. 5 We are looking for a software engineer who can create a software transmitter and receiver model to 6 validate the DisplayPort Automotive Extensions (DP AE) specification. DP AE is a set of features 7 that enhance the existing DisplayPort (DP) and embedded DisplayPort (eDP) standards for 8 automotive display applications. DP AE aims to provide improved functional safety and security for 9 displays that are connected, automated, shared, and electrified (CASE) in vehicles. 10 1.1 Responsibilities 11 -Create an initial analysis and software development plan and report outlining the effort required to 12 develop and test the software C-Models. 13 -Design, develop, test, and document software modules for the transmitter and receiver ofDP AE 14 -Implement the functional safety and security protocols as defined by the DP AE specification 15 -Support the verification and validation ofthe DP AE specification using the software model 16 -Collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to ensure the quality and compatibility of the 17 software model 18 -Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the software model 19 1.2 Qualifications 20 -Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, electrical engineering, or related field 21 -
