SEDA Malaysia 2nd SEDA Innovation Challenge (SIC) 2026 Stage 2 - Documentation

Sep 11, 2026

Project documentation template for the SEDA Malaysia 2nd SEDA Innovation Challenge (SIC) 2026 Stage 2. The guide structures submissions by requiring a clear executive summary, well-supported problem statement and background, and a detailed innovation concept with proposed solution. Teams must explain the technical workflow, identify key technologies and feasibility, and present results or expected performance with category-specific guidance. Additional sections cover prototype description for Category B, impact and sustainability, feasibility and future development, progression for previously developed projects, and a concise conclusion with references. Formatting rules include Calibri 12pt, A4, and PDF output.

FAQs

What sections are required for the Stage 2 documentation submission?

The template requires an executive summary, problem statement and background, innovation concept and proposed solution, concept development/technical explanation, results/output/expected performance, plus impact and sustainability, feasibility and future development, progression (if applicable), and a conclusion with references.

What additional content is required for teams submitting under Category B?

Category B submissions must include a prototype description detailing prototype design, materials and components, functionality, and the development process, and may include photos or diagrams.

How should results and performance be presented?

For Category A (ideation), include expected outcomes and potential results if implemented. For Category B (prototype), include testing conducted, performance indicators, observations and outcomes, and discussions, with optional graphs, data tables, and performance metrics.
