Resolution 2024-180 BOARD OF COMMISSIONERSSARPY COUNTY, NEBRASKA Awarding the low bid for the 108th Street Improvements, Mitchell Road to Platteview Road,Project C-77 (23-14) to Graham Construction in the amount of $1,257,448.10 Whereas, pursuant to Neb. Rev. Stat. §23‐104(6), the County has the power to do all acts in relation tothe concerns of the County necessary to the exercise of its corporate powers; and, Whereas, pursuant to Neb. Rev. Stat. §23‐103, the powers of the County as a body are exercised bythe County Board; and, Whereas, bids for the 108th Street Improvements, Mitchell Road to Platteview Road, Project C-77 (23 - 14) have been solicited, made, opened and reviewed pursuant to applicable Nebraska State Statutes; and, Whereas, based on those proceedings, and at a public meeting, this Board has duly deliberated andconsidered the quotes received; and, Whereas, this Board desires to proceed forthwith in order to expedite and facilitate service to thecitizens of Sarpy County. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Sarpy County Board of Commissioners that based onthe recommendation of the Purchasing Department, seven (7) bids were received, and the contract is awardedto the lowest bidder, Graham Construction, in the amount of One Million Two Hundred Fifty-Seven ThousandFour Hundred Forty-Eight Dollars and Ten Cents ($1,257,448.10) and said bid is accepted, ratified, andconfirmed. BE IT FUTHER RESOLVED that the Board Chairman, along with the County Clerk is hereby authorizedto sign any documents required to evidence the Contract and any ancillary documents as well as take any andall steps necessary in order to carry out the terms of such contract.
