Outdoor Basketball Court Sample lighting layout for a 50' x 45' half-court configuration, prepared for RAB Lighting. The package includes illuminance calculation summaries (court illuminance in footcandles with average, maximum, and minimum values and a specified horizontal plane reference) and luminaire scheduling with total quantity details. It specifies a scale, luminaire type and mounting arrangement for FFLED52T, expanded location data for each luminaire position, and a lighting design disclaimer outlining predictive assumptions, need for field verification, and advisory-only intent rather than construction documentation.

The Lighting Analysis, ezLayout, Energy Analysis and/or Visual Simulation ("Lighting Design") provided by RAB Lighting Inc. ("RAB") represents an anticipated prediction of lighting system performance based upon design parameters and information supplied by others. These design parameters and information provided by others have not been field verified by RAB and therefore actual measured results may vary from the actual field conditions. RAB recommends that design parameters and other information be field verified to reduce variation. NOTES:
* The light loss factor (LLF) is a product of many variables, only lamp lumen depreciation (LLD) has been applied to the calculated results unless otherwise noted. The LLD is the result (quotient) of mean lumens / initial lumens per lamp manufacturers' specifications.
* Illumination values shown (in footcandles) are the predicted results for planes of calculation either horizontal, vertical or inclined as designated in the calculation summary. Meter orientation is normal to the plane of calculation.
* The calculated results of this lighting simulation represent an anticipated prediction of system performance. Actual measured results may vary from the anticipated performance and are subject

FAQs

What court area and geometry does the lighting layout cover?

The document covers an outdoor basketball court sample with a 50' x 45' half-court configuration.

Which luminaire product family is referenced in the lighting design?

The lighting design layout references FFLED52, including FFLED52T and related FFLED52-Trunnion naming in the luminaire schedule.

Are the lighting results guaranteed for field conditions?

No. The document states the lighting analysis is a predictive forecast based on provided parameters and recommends field verification because actual measured results may vary from field conditions.
