MUSES Deliverable 4.2.1 - Multi-Use Analysis - Final submission

Sep 23, 2026

MUSES project deliverable D4.2.1 presents a multi-use analysis focused on how different marine activities can be combined in European seas. It addresses challenges and explains the multi-use concept, then compares sea basins and identifies actors relevant to multi-use development. The report evaluates combinations involving offshore renewable energy with sectors such as aquaculture, fisheries, tourism, shipping, tidal and other energy systems. It concludes with recommendations for an action plan, including integration, policy, capacity building, research priorities, and marketing.
