This document provides a template for outlining project milestones, detailing the information required for each stage to ensure clarity and facilitate payment processing. It emphasizes the importance of including a clear description of activities within work packages, the expected completion month, and distinct, evidence-based deliverables. The success criteria for each milestone must be measurable, relatable to the work packages and deliverables, and clearly attainable. The template also mandates detailing the costs associated with each milestone, ensuring that the sum of milestone costs aligns with the total project funding applied for. Guidance is provided on presenting this information clearly in each column, with separated milestones aligned to quarterly payment schedules. Examples illustrate how milestone costs and payments are structured per quarter, showing how to calculate the total quarterly payment based on completed milestones. The document stresses the need for clear and precise details in all sections to accurately reflect project progress and financial planning.
