FAQs

How can a resume be made more relevant to the employer?

Match what you want to say with what the employer is interested in learning. Show the skills and focus they are specifically looking for.

What does “accomplishment based” mean for resume writing?

Write about what you accomplished and the unique contributions you made. Emphasize actions and outcomes rather than only responsibilities.

Why does the document mention applicant tracking systems (ATS)?

Because the first reviewer is sometimes an ATS, not a human. Use appropriate keyword formatting so your resume can be understood and matched.
