FAQs

What is the purpose of the homeschool notebook and portfolio?

It organizes a school year plan and provides sections to document child information, assessments, goals, daily activities, and teaching and progress-tracking data.

How should goals and objectives be set up in this notebook?

Start with an annual goal, break it into smaller short-term objectives that support mastery, and record how progress will be collected (e.g., tests, work samples, observation notes).

How do the data sheet and graphing instructions work together?

The data sheet uses a predefined scoring/prompts system to record results and observations, and the graphing instructions specify that each graph tracks one month with days mapped across the chart.
