RUBEN WALTON GRAPHIC DESIGNER [rwalton@gmail.com](rwalton@gmail.com) (555)987-6543 [linkedin.com/in/rwalton](linkedin.com/in/rwalton) Dear Lara Stuart, I was inspired to learn about Greenway's recent success in introducing a renewable energy system to a planned neighborhood, highlighting the company's commitment to sustainable and innovative solutions. As someone who has transitioned from a meaningful career in elementary education to a passionate graphic designer, I am excited about the opportunity to contribute to a company that aligns with my values of creativity, innovation, and social responsibility. My unique background has equipped me with a diverse skill set that I believe will add value to Greenway, especially in projects that require afresh and engaging approach to visual communication. During my five years as an elementary school teacher at Sunnyside Academy, I utilized graphic design principles to create more engaging and visually stimulating learning environments, resulting in a 50% increase in student engagement. This experience honed my skills in visual communication and storytelling, allowing me to effectively convey complex information in an accessible and appealing manner. My transition to a full-time graphic designer has been marked by developing engaging, educational digital content for online learning platforms, increasing user interaction by 40%, and creating visually appealing infographics that enhance student understanding and retention. As a freelance graphic designer, I have leveraged Adobe Creative Suite to produce high-quality designs for local businesses, improving their brand visibility and market reach. This hands-on experience, combined with my internship at Creative Concepts Agency, where I assisted in creating branding materials and developed marketing collateral, has sharpened my skills in design and client communication. My academic background, with a Master of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from the Design Institute of Fantasia, has provided me with a solid foundation in the principles of design and project management. Joining Greenway excites me not only because of the company's innovative approach to sustainability but also because of the opportunity to be part of a creative team that is making a tangible impact on communities. My passion for art, music, and traveling fuels my creativity and inspires me to bring unique perspectives to my work.
