Disaster Risk Reduction Capacity Assessment Report for the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia reviews disaster risk reduction (DRR) and crisis management capacity to identify capacity gaps, define desired capacities, and formulate practical recommendations. The assessment mission is carried out at the request of the South-East Europe (SEE) and Turkey regional project on Disaster Risk Management, complementing 2010 needs assessments across IPA beneficiaries. Findings support development of strong national components for Phase II submissions to the European Commission and potential donors.
