Upload by Logic

This document outlines a project methodology focused on process improvement, emphasizing the 'Measure/Analyze' phases. It details key sections such as Project Focus, Problem Statement, Current State Analysis, Project Aim Statement, and Implementation Plan. The analysis culminates in documenting qualitative and quantitative outcomes, comparing pre- and post-improvement data, and establishing controls. A crucial element is the creation of a 'data story' supported by process maps and graphs to clearly articulate the current state and the impact of proposed improvements. The document also guides the development of controls to sustain improvements and provides a framework for a brief project summary highlighting the problem, solution, and benefits. It serves as a template for structured problem-solving and process enhancement initiatives, ensuring a data-driven approach from problem definition through to sustained improvement.

FAQs

What is the primary focus of this project methodology?

The primary focus is on process improvement, with a strong emphasis on the 'Measure' and 'Analyze' phases to understand the current state and support a 'data story'.

What key elements are included in the Current State Analysis section?

The Current State Analysis section involves defining the problem statement, mapping the current process, and presenting graphs that support the data story.

What is the purpose of the 'Controls Utilized' section?

The 'Controls Utilized' section is for documenting the control measures implemented to sustain the improvements achieved during the project.
