FAQs

How does an employee qualify for an assignment?

Employees must meet the criteria configured in the Criteria section on the Assignment screen. Qualification determines which assignment type applies to the employee.

How is assignment validation controlled?

Assignments are validated only when they are included in the selection style assigned to the process. Runs that use needs-based scheduling include only assignment rules selected for that selection style.

What happens if an employee qualifies for more than one assignment?

The order of the qualification criteria on the Assignment Determination list determines the assignment. If job class is the highest-priority qualification, the job-class-qualified assignment code is selected.
