Class: MWF 9:00-9:50 a.m., Wagar 133 Course Objectives: To develop an understanding of the basic principles of structural analysis and become familiar with the various methods of analyses for beams, trusses, and rigid frames, as well as statically indeterminate beams and trusses. Office Hours: 10:00-11:00 M,W,F – Drop in times. For an appointment-please e-mail me and suggest a time (or several times) to meet. I will let you know if I will be in my office then or give you several alternate times to choose from. Attendance: Attendance is expected. If you have to miss class please get the notes from a classmate. Selected problems will be graded and full solutions provided the following week. The Midterms will be announced at least one week in advance. Only university excuses will be considered acceptable. Please submit a signed doctors excuse if you become ill. The test will be during normal class time. The Final Exam will be given on the time and day specified by the University. No exceptions can be made without a university excuse.
