RPP Cooperative Huddles Small groups of cooperators take on collaborative project work to address specific barriers in CA’s reforestation pipeline, such as: Increasing cone surveying and monitoring capacity Increase cross-boundary seed collection coordination Integrating new technologies in reforestation work The California Reforestation Pipeline Cooperative mission is to serve as a platform upon which diverse stakeholders can work together to accelerate timely, effective, climateinformed reforestation practices across public and private lands. The RPP Cooperative implements this mission through Gatherings, Huddles, and Cone Camps. Gatherings The Cooperative hosts in-person events approximately quarterly to build community; feature new research and projects; share updates among the many public, private, and partner organizations active in reforestation; hold roundtable discussions and more. Cone Camp Cone Camps are two-day trainings developed in close collaboration with the state and federal seed collection programs that gives attendees the information and skills they need to effectively survey and monitor cones of CA native conifer species. Attendees receive hands-on experience and a printed copy of the California Cone Hunter’s Pocket Guide. Anyone interested in supporting state-wide reforestation efforts is welcome at Cone Camp.
