Includes a temperature grid by day, a mucus key (menstruation, dry days, mucus, fertile mucus, peak day) and an instruction set for plotting daily basal temperature and linking dots to reveal patterns. Explains how to record disturbances, identify the post-ovulation temperature spike, and use the “three over six” rule to determine infertile phases, highlighting fertility 2–3 days before ovulation and 12–24 hours after.

FAQs

How do I record basal body temperature on this chart?

Take your basal body temperature as soon as you wake up in the morning, plot it as a dot for each day, and connect the dots with a continuous line to see your pattern over time.

What do the mucus colors and symbols mean?

The key maps red to menstruation bleeding, green to dry days with no mucus, yellow to mucus, F to fertile mucus, and X to the peak day (last wet day). It also includes numbers for days after the peak day.

How does the “three over six” rule determine the infertile phase?

After recording 3 consecutive temperatures all above the level of the previous 6, you are in an infertile phase.
