As-Is Bill of Sale Template

Sep 3, 2026

This document is an "As-Is" Bill of Sale template designed for the transfer of ownership of goods. It meticulously outlines the terms and conditions under which a seller transfers possession of an item to a buyer, emphasizing that the sale is final and without any warranties or guarantees. The template includes essential fields for both the seller and buyer, such as names, addresses, and contact information. It also requires a detailed description of the item being sold, including its condition, make, model, serial number, and any distinguishing marks. Crucially, the bill of sale specifies the purchase price and the date of the transaction. A key clause explicitly states that the item is sold "as is," meaning the buyer accepts the item in its current state, with all faults and defects, whether apparent or hidden. The seller disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including any warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Signatures of both parties, along with the date of signing, finalize the agreement, serving as legal proof of the transfer and the agreed-upon terms.
