Elementary-focused lesson plan that guides students through animal habitats across the planet, with a clear structure for introducing habitats, then exploring deserts, grasslands, rainforests, and related ecosystems. Content explains how different habitats support distinct plant and animal life, including grassland animals and desert adaptations, and uses rainforest layering (emergent, understory, canopy, forest floor) to organize learning. Includes a hands-on drag-and-drop activity to match animals with habitats and supports learning with key facts and summary sections.
