Review of Board Policies 4205 and 4027 RECOMMENDED DIRECTIVE: The Board hereby approves (a) the proposed amendments to Board Policy 4205 (Admission to the Third-Year Certificate of Achievement in Public Health Specialist); and (b) Board Policy 4207 (Admission to a Second Degree) as presented, with no amendments. DISCUSSION: Policies and procedures are dynamic instruments that evolve in response to the changing needs and priorities of an organization. While the foundational principles of a policy may remain consistent over time, its specific provisions must be periodically reviewed and revised to ensure continued relevance and alignment with organizational objectives. Accordingly, the Vice President for Enrollment Management and Student Services (EMSS) maintains an ongoing commitment to working collaboratively with relevant EMSS offices and standing committees of the college to conduct systematic reviews of policies and procedures under Chapter 4, which governs enrollment management and student services. As part of this ongoing review process, the following policies were endorsed by the Recruitment, Admissions, and Retention Committee (RARC) on May 16, 2025, and by the Curriculum Committee on May 21, 2025.
