FAQs

How is the dry run used in this hybrid event run of show?

The dry run is a practice session including everyone involved, such as ITS, to review roles and responsibilities and to confirm sound, slides, and videos function correctly.

What tasks are assigned to the host, chat moderator, and event support during the live webinar?

The host manages welcome, housekeeping, speaker introductions, Q&A moderation, and closing remarks. The chat moderator handles welcome items, shares speaker social handles, encourages Q&A in chat, and provides closing support. Event support manages spotlighting and the transition between music, screen holds, and presentation controls.

When does Q&A begin and how is it concluded?

After the speaker presentation, the host thanks the speaker(s), opens the floor for Q&A, and then takes the last question to wrap up. The host thanks the speaker(s) again and delivers closing remarks before the webinar is ended.
