FAQs

What project information fields does the SWMS template require?

It collects fields such as Project Name, Project Address, Commencement Date, Duration of Works, and the Date Provided to the Principal Contractor.

How does the template define and record high-risk work?

It provides a checklist of high risk construction activities (e.g., work near energised electrical installations, falls over 2 metres, confined spaces, asbestos removal, demolition of load-bearing structures) for indication and selection.

What PPE and safety equipment sections are included?

The template lists mandatory PPE (uniform, hi vis, footwear, hard hat, eyewear, gloves, hearing protection, dust mask, fall arrest, and other) plus task-specific PPE, along with safety and emergency equipment and a hazardous substances section.
