Science-fiction story set in the year 2335, where life on Earth is collapsing due to depleted natural resources, air pollution, and widespread disease. After a Robot Rebellion, many humans reject advanced technology and choose basic living, while others start over on the Moon or move to Mars with limited supplies. On Mars, Yun and Zara Song and their daughter Belle become farmers, but scarce water attracts raids and threatens their hard-won survival and community.
