FAQs

Why must the Control Stick remain in the neutral position when powering on the console?

If the Control Stick is held at an angled position during power-on, that angle is set as neutral and games may operate incorrectly. Keep it neutral until the game starts.

How do I reset the Control Stick neutral position after the game has started?

Release the Control Stick so it returns to center, then press START while holding down the L and R Buttons.

What should I do when saving or loading a game?

When saving, do not turn off the Nintendo 64, remove the Game Pak, or disconnect the controller. To play a previously saved game, insert the W NO MERCY Game Pak and the stored data is available as soon as the power is on.
