Sep 29, 2026

World of Robots - Chapter 1 introduces Jango and his grandpa on a flood-surrounded world where robotic ships collect cargo and sort it in a warehouse. When a transporter explodes overhead, Jango is drawn to the sky and the nearby space stations while his grandpa responds with calm practicality. The chapter explains how much of daily life is run by robots, yet occasional failures—like faulty technology and even the truck—create new problems that must be dealt with immediately.

FAQs

Where does Jango live and what happens to the stuff the robotic ships find?

Jango and his grandpa live on a world that is almost completely flooded. Robotic ships gather what they find, put it into crates, and bring it to the docks for sorting in their warehouse.

What triggers the excitement in Chapter 1?

A transporter explodes, and Jango initially watches the blast and the sky before turning back to his grandpa.

How do Jango and his grandpa explain the transporter explosion and daily problems?

Grandpa suggests transporter robots run the missions and that the explosion likely happened due to a faulty robot. He also points out that older technology around them often goes wrong, even like their truck.
