WIRING DIAGRAMS-STANDARD MOTORS - 3Ø WIRING DIAGRAMS - Diagram DD1 - SINGLE SPEED MOTORS

Oct 29, 2026

WIRING DIAGRAMS-STANDARD MOTORS provides connection and wiring guidance for STANDARD FRAME INDUCTION MOTORS used across multiple FANTECH product sections, including delta and star three-phase configurations. Diagram DD1 lists single-speed motor terminals and instructs checking the nameplate data for correct connection, with L1/L2/L3 and phase/earthed links. Additional diagrams such as DD5–DD7 extend coverage to two-speed and single-phase wiring, including AUX/MAIN/COM links for compatible speed controllers. The guide emphasizes verifying the diagram supplied with the motor at time of installation and publication.

FAQs

How do you determine the correct connection for Diagram DD1 single-speed motors?

Use the motor nameplate data for the correct connection. The guide specifies different wiring for delta and star configurations.

What should be used when speed controllers are required for the AUX/MAIN/COM diagrams?

The diagrams note they suit specific speed controllers (VA2.0 and VA2.8). For AVA5.0, VA5.0, and VA8.0, use the AUX, MAIN and COM connections.

Do the wiring diagrams remain valid after publication?

Yes, they are stated to be current at the time of publication, but you must still check the wiring diagram supplied with the motor for accuracy.
