What are the prerequisites to use the ACM Word-based template?

You need MS Word 2007/2010 (recommended)/2013/2016 and the Word Equation Editor. The required operating systems are Windows 7/8/10. You also must have the ACM Font set installed on your machine.

How should I enable macros when adding the template?

When a security warning appears, click on “Enable Content” to allow the template’s macros.

What workflow should be used to generate the final manuscript for PDF submission?

Work in draft mode, then apply the correct design template following the workflow. Use the saved draft backup copy for textual changes, rename it as the current file, re-apply the design layout, and then generate the PDF for submission.
