A qualitative study explores how Aging Life Care Professionals (ALCPs), also known as care managers, add value from the perspectives of families and care recipients. Seventeen virtual interviews were analyzed thematically to examine reasons for hiring a care manager, the services provided, satisfaction, and perceived impact on care transitions and complex health conditions. Findings highlight attentiveness, proactive monitoring, transparency, and crisis responsiveness, emphasizing improved care quality and reduced caregiver burden.
