Detailed Description of the Invention This invention deals with an improveme nt of a thread treatment nozzleused for the formation of a high bulk processed thread. In or der to obtain a high bulk processed thread by tight1y looping anormal thread,an apparatus consisting of a main nozzle body formed from abody section which includes a standard gas introduction opening,a needlehaving a thread passage hole in the center and a ventury having an exit route,and a collision plate positioned at a suitable distance from the main nozzlebody is used.The the oretical operation of this nozzleis descri bed here.That is to say,the air under pressure is led to a gas circular chamber formedby the body section and the needle through the gas introduction opening. Theair under pressure is allowed to pass through a circular fluid passage formedby the needle and the venturi and reaches the exit passage.An agitated flowis created in the passage between the circular fluid pas sage and the exitpassage to mix and twine the thread passsing through it.The addition of thecollision plate for the thread and air promote more turbulence in the flow andthis turbulence forms loops on the thread to yield high bulk processed thread. Howe ver,the rate of production reaches,at best,150 m/min.when thethread obtained is about 300 deniers using this basic method and the rate ofpr oduction is limited to 50m/min when the thr ead obtained is about 3,000denier. More recently,the demand for the production of high bulk thread with loops has grown as a result of popularization of the spanlike[transliteration]technology but the industrial production of such has beendelayed mainly due to the slow rate of production which reduces theproductivity and increases the cost of production. In order to solve these problems,some suggestions ha ve been presented inJapanese Patent Disclosures KOKAI No.52-21446,53-59143 and 53-129854 butnone of these suggestions has offered a definitive solution to the problem. This in vention presents a nozzle for treating thread which eliminates theproblems encoun tered in the prior art and which can be used in a high speedproduction.The essence of the invention is a nozzle for treating threadconsisting of a trunk section having an opening in the center and containing agas introduction opening connected to the said central cavity
