The Perfect Spot tells the story of Pigmi, a tiny pygmy seahorse, born into a lively underwater world. After her father, Mr. Pygmy Seahorse, joyfully welcomes his last-born after an exhausting birthing process, the strong current carries Pigmi away from her family. She struggles to keep her balance and to find food, as the abundant plankton are difficult for her to capture efficiently. Discovering she can better suck up food when upside down, Pigmi adapts her feeding strategy. However, the current intensifies, posing a significant threat to her safety. As many fish swim by, Pigmi attempts to hide, but a large school of fish creates powerful waves that toss her around. Determined to find a safe haven, Pigmi seeks shelter and eventually discovers a colony of brain coral.
