The Mobilephilosopher - Matters of Lunch and Death - Switch off your phone, turn on your brain

Sep 28, 2026

A short philosophical collection built as a set of “distractions” inviting readers to engage provocative problems about living well, eating, time, and death. The book frames each chapter as a brief invitation from philosophers living and dead, designed to maximize the enjoyable part of doing philosophy—thinking. Topics move from gluttony and excess, to social habits and self-improvement, and finally to the rationality of fearing death and what happens when life ends.
