This document presents "Story 3: The Lion and the Mosquito," a tale attributed to Aesop, adapted and illustrated. The narrative details a confrontation between a boastful mosquito and a mighty lion. The mosquito challenges the lion, claiming superiority and daring the king of animals to prove his strength. During the ensuing battle, the mosquito bites the lion's itchy snout, causing the lion to scratch himself with his own claws, resulting in bleeding and eventual surrender. Emboldened by his victory, the mosquito flies off triumphantly. However, his elation is short-lived as he is immediately ensnared in a spider's web.
