Sep 29, 2026

A Christmas Eve scene follows Jim and his mother as they make gingerbread men and decide to create a pirate crew. Jim chooses Captain Cookie as the captain, complete with a gingerbread cutlass and a peg leg made from a toothpick, and insists that Captain Cookie must not be left out for Santa Claus. At bedtime Jim brings the captain to his room, listens for reindeer on the roof, and finds the captain still attentive, raising questions about where the crew went and why Santa is interested in eating them.
