Prayer is presented as a disciplined, relationship-based battle plan grounded in Jesus Christ and aimed at specific, strategic intercession. The opening frames prayer as powerful through real-life examples of protection and provision, then previews a structured approach: enlistment, basic training, spiritual conditioning, and practical strategies for praying for different targets. Appendices extend the theme with rhythms, tests, gospel content, scripture verses, “spiritual ammo,” God’s names, and guidance to start a prayer ministry.

(John 14:6, Eph. 3 : 12; Col. 1 : 15–20) THE VERTICAL LINES in the cross, as well as above and below it, remind us to stay vertically aligned with God and His Word in prayer.(John 14: 13; 15: 7; 1 John 5 : 14) THE HORIZONTAL LINES in the cross and on both sides remind us to stay right with others.
