Surviving an alien attack - Series Hi jinx - Survival guides you didn't know you needed

Sep 29, 2026

A juvenile-humor alien-attack survival guide from the Hi Jinx series, framed as an editor-supported narrative. It introduces the threat of approaching “stars” that are actually spaceships with lasers and ray guns capable of turning people to ash and melting cities. The text reassures readers that they are prepared and need a survival guide they never expected, then launches into a chapter-based approach to stargazing, making peace offerings, escaping, fighting for life, and getting in on the hijinx.
