Structural Standard Drawings - Concrete Reinforcement Details - General Notes

Q: What determines precedence if different reinforcement details are provided in contract RC drawings?

The drawings indicate that when different details are issued in the contract RC drawings, the latter details take precedence over the listed SEB typical details.

Q: Which units are used for dimensions in these drawings?

All dimensions are stated in millimetres unless otherwise specified.

Q: Where are the standard beam stirrup and column binder hook and binders shown?

The drawings state that the types of beam stirrups and column binders are shown on typical detail drawings SD/005 and SD/006 respectively.

Structural standard drawings listing typical reinforcement and structural detail sheets for RC works, including drawing schedules and general requirements. The content specifies drawing precedence under contract documents, expands reinforcement-related abbreviations, and defines scope for conventional beam, column, wall, and slab details. It also establishes design and detailing rules such as hook and bend requirements, bar cranking guidance, anchorage and lap length expectations tied to concrete grade, and dimensional units in millimetres unless stated otherwise.
