Spotting the Wolf

Jul 17, 2026

This document, titled 'Spotting the Wolf,' draws a parallel between a classic fable and the identification of deceptive individuals who pose as Christians. It recounts a story of a wolf disguised as a sheep attempting to infiltrate a flock with malicious intent. The narrative highlights how the sheep, through a simple test of 'puffing' at the wolf, expose its true nature and foil its plan. The document then transitions to a spiritual context, urging readers to recognize people who feign Christian faith but propagate falsehoods and deceit. It provides guidance on how to discern such individuals by examining their 'FRUIT' – specifically, whether they teach the truth and live a Christian life. Analogous to how a bad tree cannot bear good fruit, the text asserts that a fake Christian cannot authentically teach or live according to Christian principles. The accompanying biblical reference, Matthew 7:15-16, reinforces the message about false prophets and the importance of discerning true followers by their actions and teachings.
