Spook in the Stacks introduces the G.H.O.S.T Squad, a group of girls who investigate supernatural oddities while combining cheerleading life with ghost-hunting adventures. Mags, Scarlett, Luna, and their service dog Dakota tackle reported library activity including shadow figures, strange whistling, falling books, weeks-old newspapers, cold spots, and sudden mint scents. The story frames possible causes such as a computer virus or faulty wiring, adding playful, mystery-driven paranormal study elements and series back matter.
