"We shared our first day of middle school together, terrified and clutching our matching pencil cases." The crowd chuckled. I took a long sip of my martini. "And now here she is, marrying the most wonderful man, who appreciates her exactly as she deserves." Robin turned to Tom. "I knew you were the one for her when you showed up to every single one of her school concerts, even when you had your own baseball team to coach the next morning." Fiona wiped a tear from her cheek.
