Shirt Tales - If a Penguin Put Shoes

Sep 21, 2026

Shirt Tales presents playful, kid-friendly questions through simple rhyme about getting dressed and animals’ outfits. The opening invites children to wonder whether animals dress themselves, then explores what might happen if a penguin wore shoes on orange webbed feet and how slipping, sitting, and sliding could result. Additional verses imagine a tortoise wearing a hat and a hippo avoiding a coat to stay light, buoyant, and comfortable.
