Session Zero-Teothe is a Dungeons & Dragons adventure module designed for Dungeon Masters. The module provides a detailed description of an entrance into a goblin-inhabited lair, highlighting potential encounters and environmental features. Players arriving at the location will not immediately notice a goblin patrol, but if they wait or scout for at least three minutes, they will observe the patrol. Investigation of the ground before entry will reveal tracks indicative of a patrol. Upon descending, the party will discover that the lair is not a simple goblin excavation but rather a remnant of a long-lost order. While the floor is dirty, it is made of sharp-cut stone, and the walls are adorned with intricate drawings and paintings. A successful DC15 History check will reveal information about 'The Quartet,' a guild of bards and sorcerers skilled in both combat and entertainment, some of whom operated circuses, while others bore battle trophies and scars. The first room encountered contains two sleeping goblins who are easy to overcome or avoid; bypassing them will prevent a future encounter with the patrol in the second room. The adventure's narrative is structured to offer a mix of exploration, combat, and lore discovery, providing a compelling experience for players.
