FAQs

What operating characteristics are described for the outdoor unit in heating mode?

The hydrophilic fin improves heating efficiency. It runs in heating operation mode except during defrosting, and it protects valves to prevent water from dripping.

What information does the outdoor unit digital display tube show?

In standby it displays “- -”. During compressor operation it shows the running frequency; in defrosting it shows “dF” (or alternates with frequency); during compressor pre-heating it displays “- -”; in protection or malfunction it shows an error code or protection code.

How is the outdoor unit point check function performed?

A check switch on the outdoor PCB is used. Push SW1 while the unit is running to step through the display sequence, including indoor capacity demand code, running mode code, fan motor state, temperature values, inverter current, valve open angles, and the last error/protection code.
