FAQs

How do I register for the SAT and ACT for the 2024-25 cycle?

Both the SAT and ACT registrations are done online. Use a credit card or an eligible fee waiver.

What are the key differences between regular and late registration deadlines?

Each test date lists a regular registration deadline and a separate late registration deadline. Late registration typically requires an additional cost for the ACT.

Where should score reports be sent for SAT and ACT, and are there any special rules?

For SAT, send one score report to Calstateapply.edu covering all 23 CSU campuses, and send one to a UC so UC campuses receive it. For NCAA, scores must be sent to 99999. ACT registration guidance also notes that many colleges recommend ACT plus Writing rather than ACT alone.
