Chapter one: A fresh start One night in a small village a horribly sick child named Rui was asleep in his home, little did the villagers know that Muzan Kibutsuji, in other words the demon king, was walking through the village. As Muzan passed Rui’s small home he looked through the window. When he did this he noticed Rui and how pale he was. Muzan saw himself in Rui which caused him to enter the home, as Muzan gazed down at Rui he gave him his blood causing Rui to be cured but there was a catch, Muzan ’s blood would turn him into a demon. Once Muzan finished he sat in a chair next to Rui waiting for him to wake. A few hours later as Rui opened his eyes, he noticed Muzan sitting beside him.“Who are you?”Rui mumbled as he sat up. “I am the one who cured you, my name is Muzan Kibutsuji,”Muzan explained. “I will be taking care of you from now on,”Muzan stated. At first Rui was in a state of shock mixed with pure confusion but after a few moments he smiled bright. “O-Ok, Muzan,”Rui exclaimed. Muzan stood up and took Rui’s hand in his. “I ’ll take you home and introduce you to the others,”Muzan said. Rui simply nodded as he didn ’t completely understand what Muzan meant.“Nakime, teleport us back,”Muzan commanded. After Muzan said this they suddenly appeared somewhere different. The place they now stood was huge and the rooms and paths seemed like they were infinite, behind Muzan was a woman with long black hair covering her eyes and a kimono, the woman held a biwa and she went by the name Nakime. “Muzan-sama, shall I call the others?”Nakime asked. “Yes, I have someone to introduce them to,”Muzan answered. As Nakime strung the strings of her biwa a total of seven people appeared, they were the six uppermoons. The highest rank, uppermoon one was Kokushibo, he had six eyes, long red hair that was tied back, and a katana. Uppermoon two was Douma who had long blond hair, rainbow eyes, a fan, and a creepy grin. Uppermoon three was Akaza who has pink hair, yellow eyes, white skin, blue stripes on his skin, and a pink vest. Uppermoon four was Hentangu who was cowardly and could clone himself. Uppermoon five was Gyokou who was able to come out of a pot, he has six arms, and his lips are where his eyes are and his eyes are where his lips are. There was two uppermoon sixes that were siblings, the boy went by the name Gyutaro who had black and green hair, he was extremely thin, and had green and yellow eyes. His sister went by the name Daki who had long white and green hair, she was a beautiful lady, had green eyes, and wore bright red lipstick. As the Uppermoons noticed Muzan they instantly bowed their heads, it became clear to Rui that Muzan was the leader. “I would like to introduce you all to my adoptive son,”Muzan explained. After Muzan said this he stepped to the side revealing Rui to the uppermoons.“H-Hello, my name is Rui,”Rui introduced himself. As soon as Daki saw Rui her eyes widened with admiration, although Kokushibo was the opposite with his usual stoic gaze. “You 're so adorable Rui-San!” Daki squealed. After hearing this Rui’s face flushed red, this caused Douma to chuckle.“I must admit you are quite shy aren ’t you Rui-San?”Douma teased. Muzan noticed how the Uppermoons were instantly fond of Rui and smirked. “You all will take turns to spend time and take care of Rui, that way he can get to know you all,”Muzan explained “So like a bonding experience?”Akaza asked. “Precisely,”Muzan confirmed. Muzan gazed over the Uppermoons as he was choosing who should start with Rui.“Daki, Gyutaro, you two will be the ones to take care of Rui first,”Muzan stated. Daki smiled big at the news and Gyutaro smiled slightly at the sound of having a child around.“That sounds amazing!” Daki exclaimed, “we are gonna have such a good time Rui-San,”Daki said. Rui smiled slightly at Daki’s enthusiasm. “You all are dismissed,”Muzan explained. As Nakime teleported the Uppermoons away Rui w
