A practical guide explaining research methodology for students and researchers. It defines research methodology, outlines types (quantitative, qualitative, mixed methods), compares research design approaches, data collection methods, sampling strategies (probability and non-probability), and data analysis techniques. It also covers key components of a methodology chapter, how to write it step by step, and concepts of reliability, validity, and ethical considerations.

Research Methodology Research Methodology: The Complete Practical Guide for Students and Researchers Research methodology is one of the most important parts of any academic work. Whether you are writing a thesis, dissertation, or research paper, a clear and wellstructured methodology helps you plan, execute, and explain your research effectively. This guide provides a detailed yet easy-to-understand explanation of research methodology, including definitions, types, comparisons, step-by-step writing instructions, and practical examples. What is Research Methodology? Research methodology is the systematic process used to collect, analyze, and interpret data in order to answer a research question. In simple terms: It explains: • What you did • How you did it • Why you chose that approach 􀀷 It acts as the blueprint of your research, ensuring your study is: • Logical • Reliable • Reproducible Types of Research Methodology (Detailed Comparison) Understanding the different types of research is critical for choosing the right approach. ×.
