Japan Termination procedure for cable with coaxial lines: For RCCY03x-0 Lxxx the customer has to terminate the cable by his own. The termination set (Mat. No. M3813WJ) contains: - Instruction M3813WD -2 x 20mm shrink down tube, Ø 5mm -6 x 10mm shrink down tube -6 x tube di = 1mm, length 10mm -6 markers (2 x 1–3) -6 markers (2 x 4–6) - 18 sleeves 0.5mm² orange - 1 sleeves 0.25mm² light blue - 1 label “CONVERTER” - 1 label “FLOWMETER” - 1 label “RCCY03” NOTE Careful assembly of the cable is indispensable for correct connection between the detector and the converter. This ensures good measuring results. Cable end detector - Remove PVC outer sheath and outer shielding 100mm from the end. - Remove the cle

FAQs

Which cable models and temperature ranges are covered?

The document lists RCCY031/032 (-50 to +70°C), RCCY033/034 (-30 to +105°C), and RCCY03x variants with coax. It also provides sub-variants with /KS1 and /NS1 suffixes.

What flame propagation standard applies to these cables?

Flame propagation must meet IEC 60332-1. The requirement is stated for the specified RCCY cable constructions.

How should the customer terminate the coaxial cable for RCCY03x-0 Lxxx?

The customer must terminate the cable using the supplied termination set (Mat. No. M3813WJ). The procedure includes removing the PVC sheath and shielding, preparing single wires or coax shields, and using the specified shrink tubes and terminal sleeves to ensure correct detector-to-converter connection.
