Quarrelsome Queen is in a very bad mood at breakfast, complaining that the toast is burnt and arguing with Kicking King. A fanfare of trumpets interrupts the quarrel when a messenger delivers a royal letter. The letter reveals that her sister will send her quadruplet children—Polly, Poppy, Peter, and Paul—to stay this weekend. The next day, Quarrelsome Queen goes to collect the quads from the Letterland Station and observes that they all look alike, except for Peter’s freckles.
